In the Men’s Room – lifting the lid on men’s health issues

Shortlisted for Integrated Campaign [ CIPR PRide Awards 2018 ]

What was the brief?

Create a social media campaign with the aim of raising awareness of men’s health issues specifically within the construction industry, where there can be a reluctance to talk about such topics.

What did we do?

Together with the design team, we created simple, memorable imagery highlighting health issues men may face, how to spot cancers and generally encouraging men to open up and talk, specifically while in ‘the men’s room’ e.g. toilet/shower/changing room, thus indirectly promoting Washroom and its products as well as showing its human side as a company. All the content utilised the #InTheMensRoom hashtag and ultimately linked back to the Washroom website, opening Washroom up to potential new audiences.

In addition to online activity, staff at Washroom took part in a variety of fundraising events for their chosen charity, Movember, which were promoted through the company’s social media channels.
