Our client of 20 years, Arbor Forest Products, tasked us with creating and distributing a simple, informative and impactful ‘how to’ video for installers of its Trex® composite decking system.
Arbor Forest Products launched Trex – the world’s number one composite decking brand – in the UK seven years ago, and has maintained Trex’s position thanks to the quality of the product, plus its commitment to exemplary service and building relationships with decking installers. The ‘How to install a Trex deck’ video would be a key part of this.
We worked with the Trex brand manager and Trex southern sales manager Lee Heitzmann to create an informative video that would appeal to Arbor Forest Products’ target audience of UK decking installers.
Our two-man video production team decamped to Arbor Forest Products’s headquarters in New Holland for a tightly-plotted two day shoot, capturing the work that goes into building a pristine deck using Trex’s top-quality products and fixings.
A precision editing job put the finishing touches to the video with insightful tips and all product information presented clearly and concisely.
Then it was over to the social media team to communicate the video to the target market via the company’s Twitter and Facebook pages. We used Facebook’s boosting platform to ensure that it reached Arbor Forest Products’ ideal audience – putting it squarely in front of the people who needed it most.
