Building on the success of 2017 social media campaign, #Arbordexperts, we were tasked to launch the Arbordexperts Installer Awards in partnership with Pro Landscaper magazine to recognise and promote the hard work of Trex decking installers.
We invited both professional and DIY Trex installers to enter their Trex decking installation into one of the following categories:
We promoted the awards through social media, blogs, advertising and news stories. As the main promotional tool for Arbordexperts, Arbordeck’s social media channels used GIFs and a variety of eye-catching graphics to build momentum upon launch and maintain interest towards the closing date. Through paid-for social media advertising, we were able to spread the word about Arbordexperts to key audiences, whilst growing Arbordeck’s following.
A diverse and knowledgeable judging panel of four experts spanning the timber, decking and landscaping industries were on hand to cast their professional eyes over the entries.
Thanks to the support of media partner, Pro Landscaper, Arbordeck was able to hold an awards ceremony at Futurescape 2018. The winner of the Best of Trex Award scooped a four-day trip to Washington D.C. and a visit to the Trex University, and the winners of the other four categories were awarded a £250 Love2Shop voucher each.
