The dust has barely settled on our success at the CIPR’s 2016 PRide Awards, but we’ve only gone and scooped two awards for the Best Use of Website and Best Use of Events and Live Marketing at the Construction Marketing Awards. What a month!
Our talented digital team was recognised in the Best Use of Website category for its work on Arbordeck’s slick new website, which led to the decking manufacturer’s traffic increasing by more than 50% and sales of one of its key products up 93% by volume on the previous year. The judges described the site as “very well defined and executed, with clear objectives. An excellent website, with easy navigation and compelling content.”
The Best Use of Events and Live Marketing award, meanwhile, was won following efforts from the entire team on Howarth Timber’s 175 Trade Day Bonanza, making it the most successful stand-alone event the timber supplier has ever hosted. The judges remarked that that the event had “strong objectives; excellent initiative that delivered strong, measured results. Grass roots construction impact. Worthy of being a winner.”
We were up against five finalists in one of the categories, so were suitably proud of ourselves for beating off competition and going on to win not just one but two awards!
We can only hope that our latest award wins will set the tone for a very exciting 2017!
